CANINE ACUPRESSURE

Canine acupressure is based on Traditional Chinese Medicine and is non-invasive. It shares the

same theoretical base as acupuncture, but without the needles. Similar to massage, acupressure improves blood flow; relaxes muscles and relieves pain both locally and generally; releases natural cortisone to reduce swelling and inflammation; strengthens muscles, tendons, joints, and bones; and balances energy to optimize the body's natural ability to heal. Acupressure has no systemic side effects, so it is particularly helpful for dogs in poor health.

I offer acupressure protocols for:

* relieving nausea, decreased appetite, and tissue inflammation from various diseases, such as

   diabetes, kidney or liver failure, hypoglycemia; pancreatitis, Cushing's disease, Addison's disease,

   side effects of cancer treatment (chemotherapy and radiation), etc...

* supporting orthopaedic conditions such as hip dysplasia and arthritis

* resolving injuries more readily by increasing blood supply and removing toxins

* enhancing mental clarity and calm required for focus in training and performance

* and so much more...
